“Traditional craftsmanship runs in my blood. It is the breath of life to me.”
INSPIRATION
A common ancient symbol found in many cultures around the world is the Ouroboros, which represents the concept of infinity. The word "Ouroboros" is a combination of two ancient Greek words: oura (tail) and boros (to eat). It depicts a serpent eating its own tail, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth.
The Ouroboros is a powerful symbol that can be interpreted in many different ways. It can be seen as a reminder of the ever-changing nature of life, or as a symbol of hope and renewal. It is a reminder that even though things may change, there is always something that remains constant.

I believe that everything in our lives goes in cycles. This is also true for cultural values and national traditions. Even though young people today live in a world full of innovation and are gradually forgetting about things that are part of their cultural identity, there will come a day when these beautiful things will be given more attention and developed further. This project aims to revive the beauty of traditional Vietnamese clothing and to use products from Vietnamese handicraft villages. For me, anything that is original and belongs to our national identity is something that I want to use and promote, bringing it and its beauty closer to young people. In this project, i explored the use of sustainable materials in fashion. I focused on using natural fabrics such as linen, silk and bamboo as well as natural products, such as wood, bamboo, rattan. Besides, I also reuse the fabric and garment in my previous designs.
