Other projects
(2021-2022)
Some of the projects that i worked on as Creative Director and Fashion Designer while working at LaMode fashion club as a Head of Design Department during Highschool years

On the one hand, the photoshoot is about the ravages of time on plants, decay, and decay: Deconstruction - is a trend that emerged in early 2020, it talks about impermanence during the pandemic. One of the defining periods of this style was the 80's and early 90's during the crisis with the way designers like Martin Margiela, Rei Kawakubo etc... Fashion is always a mirror of the times, with this photoshoot expressing the desire to immerse in nature as well as use nature to forget the current crises and difficulties after the pandemic. Just like the early 90s after the financial crisis, people appreciate more what they have, which is nature and freedom.
On the other hand, use a lot of fabric, with layers on top of each other demonstrate the problem of over-consumption and the volume of clothes being thrown away, creating huge environmental consequences.
AMARANTHINE focuses on two things: time and destruction. This can describe our present life on earth. We destroy nature too much by over-consumerism, throwing away so much that we forget about their destruction to the environment, to our own lives.
AMARANTHINE,
the project that i worked as Creative/Art Director and Fashion Designer.
Focus on depicting the withering of plants: moss on rotting wood, faded petals... the concept shows the ravages of time on what is fresh vitality young and beautiful already, like how people follow trends and throw away superfluous outfits. But fashion is a cycle, the old can always come back and bring unimaginable value.
A forgotten garden sometimes hides hidden beauty.

'I' connection to this place is fragile, 'I' relationship with people is only temporary due to geographical circumstances, 'me' ability to hold various fragments in the soul is lost over time."I" may have been lucky enough to have lived more than one life, disappeared from there and then reborn, leaving behind the dust of the impermanent world, starting a new cycle. But the sense of self of "me" becomes more and more opaque, the inherent identities are buried and this new being is empty.
“I” embarked on a journey of reconnecting with the personal identity that I had lost.
INSPIRATIONInspired by the novel
STEPPENWOLF (Bildungsroman) by Hermann Hesse.
Impressionism
Bold colors, two tones of hot and cold colors represent chaos and strong struggle -> noticeable difference of protagonist.Style - high fashion, modern -> bourgeoisie, western civilized society.
Layer details -> inner struggle, emotional tension.
The novel focuses on describing the process of finding the main character's true identity, the sequence of events in the life of a 50-year-old man, Harry Haller, who is always separated by two different and opposing worlds: civilization and nature, temperament and instinct, bourgeoisie and proletariat, man and wolf.
Again I looked into the mirror. I have been mad. I must have been mad. There was no wolf in the mirror, lolling his tongue in his maw.It was I, Harry... My face was gray, forsaken of all fancies, wearied by all vice, horribly pale. Still it was a human being, someone one could speak to. “Harry,” I said, “what are you doing there?” “Nothing,” said he in the mirror, “I am only waiting. I am waiting for death.” “Where is death then?” “Coming,” said the other.

Showcase is the biggest annual event of LaMode Club. Showcase 2022 is the milestone of its 10 years operation, marking its comeback after a year due to the Covid-19. Hence, as the Art Director of Showcase 2022 and Head of Design Department of LaMode Fashion Club, I planned a magnificent event and put great effort to realise it.

The theme of Showcase "Chieu Sac" is the endless circulation of life, the wheel of plenty forms of life. This idea represents our ten-year journey, which is full ofups and downs that never end, and the fact that life is the main source of inspiration for many of our collections in all these years. The name "Chieu Sac"in Vietnamese means irradiating colors-illuminating the beauty in every phase and moment of life.
My design for the vedette was also inspired by the Fashion Show's theme, heavily exploiting the "tree of life" symbol.
In the promotion campaign, i worked as Director and Fashion Designer.
